Considering that its business activities are closely related to the presence of energy, which is highly flammable, RGEI is fully committed to implementing an occupational health and safety management system that is recognized by national and international authorities. For this reason, RGEI applies operational standards related to K3 aspects with the international certified standard ISO 45001: 2018 as a substitute for OHSAS 18001: 2007. In terms of managing operational facilities, RGEI also implements vital and strategic object management policies as stipulated by applicable laws and regulations. Meanwhile, from an internal perspective, RGEI has implemented and continuously socialized the K3 Policy points stipulated by the Company’s Policy.
Our people in RGEI often work in demanding roles and extreme conditions. They may have many different hazards to manage, whether in locations, construction work in remote locations, or the transport of people, equipment and products. Whatever they do, they always ensure that they can operate in safely manner before they start work.
Process safety starts at the early design phase of building facilities and continues throughout the facility’s life cycle, making sure they are operated safely manner, well maintained and inspected regularly to identify and deal with any potential process safety hazards.
Transporting fabulous numbers of people, products and equipment by road, rail, sea and air poses safety risks. We seek to reduce these risks by developing best-practice standards of RGEI. We also work with specialist contractors, industry bodies, and governments to find ways of reducing transport safety risks.
